The Athletic Foundation offers graduates 30 years old or younger who want to give back to the University, and stay involved with Georgia Southern Athletics, the opportunity to do so with the Young Alumni program.
By supporting the Erk Russell Fund, members receive Erk Russell Fund benefits and fulfill certain donation requirements for Eagle football and basketball tickets.
Young Alumni contributors are eligible to join any Erk Russell Fund giving level. However, they are required to donate at least HALF of the respective donation amount. Interested alumni are required to pay at least $30 per year in order to meet the minimum Erk Russell Fund donation level requirement, True Blue.
- To qualify as a “Young Alumni,” an alumni must be 30 years old or younger.
- Like other Erk Russell Fund members, monthly payment plans are available!
THE BEST PART? While paying only half of the donation, Young Alumni continue to pay it forward in student-scholarships and will still receive all donor benefits associated with that giving level.
While the minimum donation is cut in half, Young Alumni members are obligated to pay the full price for tickets and parking (football). Erk Russell Fund pledges must be paid in full in order to receive season tickets. Buy season tickets online at GSEagles.com/Tickets.
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline to join the Erk Russell Fund each year is June 30th. Anyone joining after June 30th will be members in the following year. For example, if you are joining in January of 2025 for $125/month, you will be a $750 (One More Time) Erk Russell Fund donor for the following year(July 2025 - June 2026). If you continue your payments for all of the following year, you will be a $1,500 (Rate, Hike) donor for the 2026-27 Erk Russell Fund. Erk Russell Benefit packets will be shipped out in late July each year.
